Fiberglass Faced Carriage House Collection
The carriage house style has been a fundamental design for decades. This elegant look of classic wood is now available with a virtually maintenance-free fiberglass exterior. The door is protected with light-weight, yet durable and impact-resistant fiberglass, that can be factory finished in three designer colors. Interior panels are painted white. The numerous glazing and hardware options will continue to add character and value to your home for years of trouble-free service.
When looking to add that extra touch to your home, wood sectionals are in a class by themselves. With the many choices of styles, paint or stain grades, window options, and wood to choose from, wood sectional doors can be manufactured to nearly any design imaginable!
Two areas for consideration when desiring wood sectionals are maintenance and cost. As weather changes, wood expands and contracts, increasing the necessity of adjustments to the hardware and operator.
Also, the nature of wood pricing fluctuates so frequently that it is nearly impossible to have one standard price list. However we would be happy to put together a quote upon request.
Residential -applications are covered tor as long as the original purchaser/homeowner owns the building the doors were installed in except as noted below.
- Series 5530 and 5330 carriage house doors are warranted for three (3) years.
- Field painting of series 5530 and 5330 doors with dark colors (less than 50% light reflectance rating) will void warranty,
- Series 5430 wood carriage house doors are warranted for one (1) year.
- Bowing of series 5430 wood carriage house doors is an inherant characteristic and is not considered a defect.
Series 5430 doors must be field painted according to C.V.O.D. painting instructions prior to installation.
OTHER HARDWARE COMPONENTS(Including springs)
C.V.O.D. warrants all hardware against defects in materials and workmanship
- Residential 25 gauge pan door hardware is warranted for one (l) year.
- Residential 24 gauge pan, sandwich and carriage house door hardware is warranted for three (3) years.
All warranty period begins with the date of installation. C.V.O.D.'s obligations are strictly limited to repair or replacement of defective parts and components during the warranty period.
This limited warranty excludes: 1) rust caused by damages or scratching; (2) damage resulting from exposure to corrosive chemicals, corrosive fumes, condensation, water or fire: (3) damages caused by accident, improper use, negligent operation, improper installation, improper maintenance or normal wear; (4) shipping, installation or labor charges; (5) defects in paints or coatings used to finish door sections; (6) any product or component which is modified, altered, or not part of the original door; (7) damages resulting from any circumstances beyond the direct control of C.V.O.D. and (8) minor expansion and contraction gaps in overlay material on carriage house doors.
In the event of a defective component, contact the dealer the door was purchased from within 15 days from discovery of the defect. C.V.O.D. reserves the right to inspect all products alleged to be defective and to verify eligiblity of this limited warranty.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY EXCLUDES ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE NOT SPECIFICALLY UNDERTAKEN HERIN, INCLUDING,WIHTOUT LIMITATION, ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SUCH AS DEATH, INJURY, DAMAGES TO PROPERTY, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM LOSS OR USE OF ANY PRODUCT OR FACILITY. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND OF MERCHANDISE, ARE HEREBY EXPERESSED EXCLUDED.
